Toxic Culture and Disregard for Employee Wellbeing

Pros

Not sure there are any

Cons

Working at Tiffany & Co. is an unfortunate reminder of how little respect and care some companies have for their employees. The environment is incredibly toxic, driven by a culture where personal agendas and self-interest take priority over any genuine concern for people’s wellbeing. Management operates without scruples, prioritising profits and status over the mental and emotional health of their teams. It’s disgraceful to see individuals in leadership positions getting away with unethical behaviour, creating a workplace atmosphere that damages morale and leaves many feeling undervalued and mistreated. Employees are unsupported, overworked, and unheard—facing high levels of stress, burnout, and frustration with little guidance or appreciation. While the brand’s external reputation may seem glamorous, the reality behind closed doors is far from it. The high turnover speaks volumes, as does the steady flow of talented people leaving due to the unbearable environment. If you’re looking for a place that values its people, respects their time, and fosters a healthy work-life balance, this is not it. Think twice before joining.

Pros

Great commission opportunities and benefits. Good staff discount. You have two personal days a year. Product is pretty good too.

Cons

Management are so patronising, inexperienced and lack empathy. If you take longer than 5 minutes in the toilet, you will be made to awkwardly explain why in front of other staff members like a school child. Targets are not adjusted if you are away on holiday. There is a lot of conflict of interest, with managers hiring their friends as supervisors, who are rude, bully staff and are on a power trip. They get away with everything as they are friends with management. They also get big sales passed down to them as opposed to being fairly distributed to other members of staff. oh and good luck trying to get your holidays in. They’ll reject them and when you ask to see when you can actually take them, you will be told it’s on the managers list but not top of the list. So you probably won’t get them.
