Our colleague, Danni, joined us as a Customer Advisor in 2019 and is now preparing to to take on her new challenge as Showrooms Manager in a new B&Q store! Over the last 18 months, Danni has completed multiple training modules, has met with the B&Q Board to share her showroom ideas and has been recognised by her Divisional Director for her efforts and hard work during lockdown. Danni says ‘When I was offered the role at B&Q I was over the moon and in the time I’ve been here, despite stresses from my home life, B&Q has kept my feet on the ground and has really kept me going.’ Congratulations Danni, we can’t wait to see what your future holds as part of team B&Q.
We’re very pleased to support the Transfer to Transform programme from The Solent Apprenticeship Hub. Having pledged £100,000 of our unspent apprenticeship levy funds to the programme which helps small and medium enterprises (SME’s) in the Solent area to train new apprentices and upskill workers in the region.

At B&Q, we're grateful to have Deputy Managers like Sukie. Earlier this week, a local hospital came to his store as they needed donations for a carers room. Sukie immediately stepped in with donations and now he's been invited to attend the hospital & cut the Ribbon to open the room in September!
