We've launched our new Gender Pay Gap Toolkit, created with WiHTL & Diversity in Retail. It’s a simple, practical guide any organisation can use to move from reporting their pay gap to taking real action. Collaboration has been key. By working with our suppliers and partners, we’ve pulled together actions that are already making a difference across our industry. We were the first retailer to publish our ethnicity and social mobility pay gaps, and for the first time this year we'll be publishing pay gap data on LGBTQ+, but we know there’s still more to do. This toolkit is part of that commitment to keep improving, learning from others, and accelerating progress. The toolkit covers clear, practical steps, with case studies on inclusive hiring, career development, flexible working, menopause support and women’s safety – and helps organisations get ready for new legislation coming in 2027. What’s most encouraging is how willing organisations are to learn from each other. That shared commitment is what will drive real change. You can download the toolkit by following the link

Matt Eyre, Employer Branding & Colleague Value Proposition Lead, tells us why including the salary is an essential part of every job advert: "We want to do right by people who take the time to apply for our jobs by giving them all the information they need to make an informed decision about whether to apply. Salary is obviously a key part of that! But it’s also beneficial to us as an organisation because we know we get more applications, from a more diverse range of qualified candidates when we publish salary details."
