As our Kudos for Kindness initiative continues, we’re thrilled to celebrate our next round of winners - colleagues making a real difference at Consensus, one thoughtful act at a time. Even the smallest acts of kindness can have a huge impact, and this round’s winners - Susan Nightingale, Michele Kizilcan, Samantha Bowkett and Jodie Gregory - have truly shown that kindness goes a long way. 💗👏
For Kieran, there’s nothing he loves more than helping others 🧡 Living at Ty Hendy in Wales, Kieran is truly flourishing with the right person-centred support. Living with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) can bring daily challenges, but with the encouragement and guidance of his support team, Kieran has built confidence, independence and a lifestyle that works for him. From volunteering at his local hospital, serving snacks and brightening patients’ days, to helping at charity shops and community farms, Kieran’s kindness and determination shine through in everything he does. Matthew has just achieved something very close to his heart. With his support worker Jade and the Kingarth team, he was able to travel to Blackpool and scatter his grandad’s ashes – a wish he’d held onto for a long time💛 The team made sure the day was planned in a way that felt right for Matthew, giving him the chance not only to reach this special goal but also to enjoy a wonderful day at the Pleasure Beach along the way. His mum shared how much it meant to both of them, and it’s a memory that will last forever. At Consensus, this is what Quality of Life truly means – helping people create moments that matter, surrounded by encouragement, support and trust.
