Supporting a more proactive health service: a research report by Edison
Our CEO, Suzy Foster, took part in Health Tech Newspaper's interview series to discuss how we have responded to the coronavirus and what we've got coming up over the next 12 months.
“I’m not going to lie, returning to work after maternity leave was pretty much the most challenging thing I have ever done”. Our Head of Acute Products, Lauren Latham, recently wrote a fantastic internal blog to talk about the way the EMIS Returners Programme helped her rebuild her confidence after becoming a mum. “[People] talk about the challenge of a new born, the sleepless nights, the financial impact… but not the mental challenge of returning to work and trying to carve out a successful career, whilst also trying to be a good mum.” “Thanks to the Returners Programme and the support of EMIS, I now have successfully returned to work confident in my ability, and with no more imposter syndrome! I know my value. I know my brand. I know it’s perfectly normal to struggle and most importantly, I’m ok with it. Thanks EMIS for supporting me and others just like me.”
We ended last year with our annual Long Service Awards. The awards celebrated the commitment, loyalty and hard work of 27 of our colleagues who have been a part of EMIS for 20 years! It was a memorable evening that gave special recognition to those who truly deserve it.
