On Saturday, the UK marked Armed Forces Day - an opportunity to recognise the dedication, service, and sacrifice of our armed forces community. Here at Equans, we’re proud to support veterans as they transition into civilian careers, bringing invaluable experience, resilience, and leadership to our teams. Hear from Andrew, British Army veteran, and also Regional Manager at our HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) partnership, who describes his journey from military service to a civilian career. He reflects on his time in the army, the transition to civilian work, and the support that can unlock better workplace experiences for veterans and reservists.
We recently celebrated National Volunteers' Week, allowing us to reflect on the incredible commitment of colleagues across Equans UK & Ireland - who together delivered 16,790 hours of volunteering in 2024. With two paid volunteering days each year, Equans employees are empowered to support the causes that matter most - whether that’s helping in our communities, backing local projects or giving time to those who need it most. It’s one of the ways we put our values into action across our business.
