Over the past three days at ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, our team has been driving conversations that spark ideas and showcase our global expertise. AI has been a major focus with Wassim Ghadban demonstrating Ennova AI in action, Eiman Alhashmi highlighting how AI accelerates innovation, and Ruth Bettencourt-Scott exploring its power to advance diversity in the workplace. We’ve also delved into the future of resources and production. Patrick Shearer unpacked the global race for decarbonisation resources, while Luigi Crolla shared how breakthrough catalyst designs can make e-methanol production more sustainable. As we head into the final day tomorrow, Lakshmi Venkatesh will share strategies for successful brownfield project delivery, and Michael Czarnecki will discuss the role of advanced biofuels and e-fuels in powering the energy transition. And don’t miss John Gilley joining a panel on transforming energy through leadership development. Kent has been awarded the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for the Khafji Desalter and Water Treatment Plant Upgrade (UDWT) Project by Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO). Delivered through close collaboration between our KSA and UK teams, this project will see around 150 Kent engineers design new desalter facilities and upgrade existing water treatment plants at Al-Khafji. By bringing together our global expertise and local knowledge, we’ll help KJO enhance operational efficiency while supporting a lower-impact energy future. The project will enable the continued production of 300,000 barrels per day of sweet crude, improving reliability, capacity, and environmental performance, a step forward in building energy solutions that balance progress with responsibility.
