Yesterday we celebrated Pride in London. The day kicked off with rainbow bagels for breakfast, we were joined by The Prince's Trust to hear about the work they do with the LGBTQI+ community and colleagues watched a screening of Pride. In true MSMG-style, we ended it with a Pride themed quiz, accompanied by colourful snacks and refreshments. It was a great day, promoting our diverse and inclusive culture and standing in solidarity with our employees, customers and users that are part of the LGBTQI+ community. #BelongatMSMG #Pride2019 #PrideLondon

In the past, teams across MSMG have ran Hackathon events, but the data group switched things up a little last week, running Moneysupermarket Group’s first ‘insightathon.’ 10 teams from across the Group took on the challenge, using their data and analytical skills to solve questions that had been burning in the back of their minds! Colleagues collaborated and tried new analytical techniques and tools and presented their findings to a panel of judges. Ideas were marked on business value, tools, techniques and data used, and their originality. The winners were Sam Hall and Emma Garland, who along with the rest of the teams gave some real insight to the business. This innovative event is a great example of how colleagues at Moneysupermarket Group are developing and transforming the way we work.
Moneysupermarket Group definitely isn’t taking a break when it comes to going the extra mile for our partnership with The Prince's Trust! This week, we’re lending a hand to the 13-strong ‘Team Brixton’, who are taking part in The Prince’s Trust’s Team programme. Team is a 12-week personal development programme for 16 to 25 year olds, who most often start out unsure of their futures. They get the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and take a qualification; and within three just three months of taking part, an amazing three out of four progress to work or college courses. It’s no surprise that this one of most popular and high impact programmes from The Prince’s Trust. What a brilliant opportunity for MSMG to get involved and help make a difference! #BelongatMSMG
