Last week, we marked World Menopause Day with an insightful talk from Claire Hattrick, The Executive Menopause Coach, at our Ocado offices in Hatfield ✨ The session brought together colleagues to discuss menopause, with both group discussions and 1-2-1 sessions, and lots of freebies. With approximately 13 million women experiencing menopause at any given time, it's crucial that we support our colleagues through this stage of their careers. 🥇 In celebration of inclusion week, we partnered with Stemettes to host a hackathon for 39 girls and non-binary young people aged 11-18! 🦾The young people taking part were enthusiastic and inspiring, showing great problem solving and collaboration skills. During the group hack session, teams worked to create a robot capable of moving a cardboard box into a tote, then the tote onto a conveyor. 🚀We hope that these amazing young minds will pursue a career in technology and go on to shape our future.

🏅 What a day! Over 120 engineers from our Welwyn Garden City Dev Centre joined us for a Sports Day. They competed in a tug of war, toss the beanbag in the tote, the Ocado shop relay race and build a tower. Congratulations to the Montreal Burgundy Buffalos who took 1st place!🏆 And a huge thank you to the organisers and volunteers who made this event possible.
