The TechWomen100 awards shortlist has been announced 🎉 We are incredibly proud to be sponsors of WeAreTechWomen’s #TechWomen100 awards, now in their seventh year. The awards are the first of their kind to focus solely on the female tech talent pipeline and to also recognise the impact of champions, companies and networks that are leading the way for future generations of tech talent. We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for four awards in this year’s UK Social Mobility Awards, which celebrate the organisations and individuals making a real difference in tackling socio-economic inequality across the UK. As well as being shortlisted within the Organisation and Community Programme of the Year categories, we’re incredibly proud of two of our people who have been recognised for their individual efforts - Barry Murphy, as Champion of the Year, and Deborah Owen, as Rising Star of the Year. Last week we welcomed 420 Year 12 students (Year 13 in Northern Ireland) in over 12 different locations UK-wide for summer work experience. Students have the opportunity to: 🌐network with PwC colleagues, including current and past students on our Flying Start Degree Programmes 🙏 collaborate on group projects 📚 learn new skills during interactive sessions 🧑💼 gain insight into what working at PwC across different business areas is like.
