The wave maker in our Ocean Basin facility at Haslar allows us to represent real conditions that a ship and its crew could encounter at sea. Featuring 122 paddles, and creating waves up to 0.8m high, it helps crews test the motions of their vessel in tough conditions so they can operate it as safely as possible. For more information on the Ocean Basin and other maritime/underwater facilities, check out the full video: https://lnkd.in/ef-jGHrd #ship #maritimesafety #testing #wavemaker
