Quintain, the developer behind Wembley Park, has announced the delivery of its newest Build-to-Rent building – Luna. Located in the heart of Wembley Park, revealed recently as one of The Sunday Times’ ‘Best Places to Live 2025’, Luna looks over the newly extended seven-acre, Union Park. The development adds 282 apartments to Quintain’s portfolio of over 3,900 Build-to-Rent homes designed and built at Wembley Park to date. Under the management of its award-winning Build-to-Rent operating platform, Quintain Living, Luna marks the start of Quintain’s next phase of Build-to-Rent delivery in Wembley Park. London Designer Outlet (LDO) has announced that during the course of 2024 sales figures grew by 5% to over £103m. The designer outlet, located in Wembley Park, has attracted shoppers from across London and beyond throughout the last 12 months with footfall increasing by 2% with over 5.4 million people visiting LDO.
4 December 2024 - Quintain secures £128m loan on BtR development at Wembley Park. Quintain, the developer behind Wembley Park, has successfully completed the refinancing of a trophy build-to-rent (BtR) building at Wembley Park with a £128.7 million Natixis CIB green loan. The loan represents a significant deleverage on the existing facility and refinances out Cheyne Capital, who supported Quintain by providing the original development financing for the construction and remain involved in other financings across Wembley Park. The Robinson is arranged across three blocks comprising 458 homes including 63 discount market rent and affordable units, ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments. The development is managed by Quintain’s award-winning management team at Quintain Living. Designed with sharers in mind, the development is in the Eastern Lands at Wembley Park in a prominent position next to the National Stadium and adjacent to Quintain’s Canada Gardens.
1 October 2024: Cultural and entertainment growth push Wembley Park’s footfall to record levels in summer 2024 Over 2.8 million people visited Wembley Park this summer, surpassing pre-pandemic footfall by 18%. Wembley Park station outpaced popular central London tourist hubs over the summer. Wembley Park set to build on this success with Coldplay, Oasis and Dua Lipa to play sell-out shows at Wembley Stadium in summer 2025. New cultural offerings including public art across the Wembley Park neighbourhood, Starlight Express and Punchdrunk Enrichment, drive growth Wembley Park continues its rise as one of London’s most dynamic cultural destinations, with record-breaking visitor numbers recorded this summer. Official footfall data provided by Transport for London (TfL) reveals that exits at Wembley Park Underground Station increased by 18.2% on pre-pandemic levels, reaching 2,868,000 units between June and August 2024, against the same period in summer 2019. Wembley Park ranked within the top 5% out of 434 stations operated by TfL, ahead of many prime central London locations.

With a 12.5% boost on 2023’s record-breaking August, the figures top off a blockbuster summer for the LDO as 2024 saw the best-performing summer on record for June, July and August, reaching £28,759,855 in sales. This can in part be attributed to the programme of major shows hosted at Wembley Stadium including Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, and Green Day.
Ares and Lone Star equity deal secures new capital commitment for Quintain at Wembley Park LONDON – JULY 30 2024 – Quintain Limited is pleased to announce a £755 million preferred equity commitment in its award-winning developments, led by funds from Ares Management Corporation (NYSE: ARES) (“Ares”), managed by Ares’ Alternative Credit strategy. Quintain is owned by funds managed by Lone Star Funds (“Lone Star”), which will be contributing £337 million to the preferred equity instrument. 25 April 2024: London Designer Outlet (LDO), the premium outlet shopping destination at the heart of Wembley Park, kicked off the year with an impressive start, achieving a record breaking first-quarter trading performance and best-ever March. The outlet recorded over £20.8 million in sales, showing a remarkable 5% increase on last year. In March alone, the LDO recorded over £7.6m in sales, a c. 10% increase on 2023, and bolstered by its strongest-ever Easter weekend, with sales exceeding £1.5m for the first time. January and February also set new trading records, as deal-hunting shoppers made the most of the LDO’s mix of brands and offers during January sales and Valentine’s Day at the capital’s leading premium fashion and lifestyle outlet destination. LDO continues to exceed expectations as its Q1 performance marks five consecutive months of record-breaking trading as year-to-March-end sales exceed £100m for the first time. This builds on what was a highly successful year for sales in 2023. This continued growth in sales highlights the outlet’s unwavering resilience and growing appeal to UK shoppers.
22nd Feb: Quintain doubles affordable artist space for Second Floor Studios & Arts at Wembley Park Quintain, the award-winning developer behind Wembley Park, is strengthening its ties with Second Floor Studios & Arts as it confirms a new lease which will see the number of affordable artist workspaces more than double at Wembley Park, consisting of 56 studios, housing 80 artists. The partnership between Quintain and Second Floor Studios & Arts began in 2016, with the first studios opened in 2018. This initial phase saw 6,880 sq. ft. of studio space built at Wembley Park. A long-term partnership, starting out as a ‘Section 106’ planning requirement, has already successfully ensured over 60% of the artists and makers are residents from the local London Borough of Brent. The new lease will see the second phase of the affordable workspace launch, with a further 8,293 sq. ft. of studio space later this year, 25% more than required under Quintain’s planning permission. A total of 30 studios are to be provided and will be purpose-built for the visual arts, becoming home to local artists, makers and designers. Ground floor and first floor studios are provided along with a breakout area where artists and designers can come together and exchange ideas as well as a gallery wall where artwork, ceramics and designs can be displayed. All spaces are fully wheelchair accessible.
9th Feb: National Apprenticeship Week: Quintain and Sisk say apprenticeships are key to construction success at Wembley Park as two new BtR developments celebrate topping out. Property developer and UK BtR pioneer, Quintain and construction partner, Sisk, today announce the ‘topping out’ of their two latest Build-to-Rent (BtR) development plots (NE02 and NE03) at Wembley Park, London. On completion, the two buildings, will deliver 769 homes for professionally managed rent alongside over 100 affordable homes of mixed tenure. Taking place during National Apprenticeship Week, Quintain points to 26 apprentices working on-site, in collaboration with Sisk, to provide skills, development and access to job opportunities. The apprentices work as trainees in quantity surveying, M&E and Business along with traditional trades including, joinery and dryling. This project alone has seen 1,100 weeks worked by individuals in training, at a time when the industry has a real need of new skilled workers. The latest figures from CITB (Construction Skills Network Report) suggest the construction industry demands an additional 250,000 workers by 2026, and those over 60 years old are the fastest growing demographic.
