Celebrating our People at Sinclair Group Earlier this month, we brought together colleagues who reached 20, 30 and 40 years of service in 2025 for a relaxed Afternoon Tea at the Coed y Mwster Hotel. What made the day special wasn't just the milestone numbers - it was the stories, the laughter, and the genuine pride shared around the room. Each person recognised has played a part in shaping who we are today, contributing their talent, energy and loyalty over many years. Events like this remind us that our culture is built by people who show up for one another, grow with us and help make the Sinclair Group a place where long careers can flourish.
Teamwork in Action for an Incredible Cause Tš Hafanâs annual Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme is one of those community initiatives that truly brings people together. Each year, volunteers and local businesses join forces to collect real Christmas trees from homes across South Wales â including Bridgend, Porthcawl and Pencoed â in exchange for a donation that supports vital childrenâs hospice care. This year, our fantastic colleagues from Sinclair Direct, Sinclair Finance & Leasing and Audi Bridgend braved the cold Welsh weather to support the Tš Hafan 2026 Christmas Tree Collection. Their energy, teamwork and commitment made a real difference. Weâre incredibly proud to continue backing this wonderful charity and helping raise essential funds for children and families who rely on Tš Hafanâs care. Well done to everyone involved â your efforts truly matter.
Celebrating Adam John â Our BYD 200 Club Superstar! We love celebrating standout talent at Sinclair Group, and hitting 200+ car sales is no small feat. Thatâs exactly why the Sinclair 200 Club exits â to spotlight the people who constantly raise the bar. Big applause for Adam John (pictured above accepting his award), whoâs officially joined this elite group after selling over 200 BYD vehicles in 2025.. Itâs a incredible milestone and a true testament to his drive, energy and customer-first approach. Adamâs accomplishment is a brilliant example of whatâs possible when dedication, hard work and a passion for exceptional customer service come together. Weâre incredibly proud of him and grateful for the positivity and momentum he brings to the business every day.
đ Supporting Our Communities This Christmas đ A huge thank you to our amazing colleagues at MercedesâBenz and BYD Bridgend, who have been hard at work collecting donations for Bridgend Foodbank. Their generosity â and the generosity of everyone who contributed â will make a real difference to local families this Christmas. And it doesnât stop there. Across the Group, our sites have been gathering substantial donations for foodbanks in their own communities. Weâre incredibly proud of the collective effort and the positive impact it will have during a time when support matters most. Thank you to every team member who got involved. Over the last six months, our Van Centres, Bodyshop, and MercedesâBenz of Swansea have been on a mission â collecting metal and plastic for recycling â and the results are huge. đĽ20+ tonnes of carbon saved đ Thatâs the same as nearly 100,000 miles driven in a diesel car đAll thanks to our teams pulling together Every bit recycled is a win for the planet, and this is proof that small actions add up to big change. Men Understanding Menopause & Mental Health Last week we hosted a Menopause Workshop specifically for our male colleagues â and it was a real success. The session was led by Bobbie, whose knowledge and openness created a safe, engaging space for learning. Everyone who attended came away feeling far more aware, informed, andâmost importantlyâmore understanding of the symptoms people may experience. It was a genuinely valuable and eyeâopening workshop, and weâre proud to support conversations that help build empathy, confidence, and a more inclusive workplace for everyone.
đ The annual Sinclair Group Childrenâs Christmas Party returned this past weekend at Margam Park â and what a magical day it was! This muchâloved event is free for all Sinclair Group colleagues and their families, and itâs one of our favourite ways to give back and celebrate the season together. From heartâwarming visits to Santaâs grotto and festive games, to lively entertainment and plenty of Christmas cheer, the day was packed with fun for all agesđ â¨
đSpreading Christmas Cheer Across South Wales đ Weâre incredibly proud to once again support the Mr X Christmas Appeal, a remarkable charity working with more than 150 agencies across South Wales to ensure children from lowâincome and disadvantaged households receive gifts at Christmas. Thanks to the kindness, enthusiasm and generosity of our colleagues across our Bridgend and Swansea businesses, weâre delighted to be donating presents to 121 children this year. The photos from todayâs dropâoff say it all â a fantastic team effort and a true celebration of community spirit. A special thank you to Victoria Crawford, for coordinating this yearâs Group donations. Reflecting on the collection, Victoria shared: âIâve been blown away by the support from so many people, and itâs wonderful that weâre able to help local children in such a meaningful way this Christmas. Well done to the Strategic Development Team who hit the sands of Port Eynon, Gower for a sustainability Beach Clean using their Sinclair Group Volunteering Day - and what a day it was! Together the team collected litter, helping protect local wildlife and made a real difference to one of our most beautiful coastal spots. This wasn't just about tidying a beach, it was about living our core values and giving back to the environment that gives so much to us. A huge thanks to Richard Seaward and his team - Maria, Victoria, Grant, Dean, Chris and Jonathan (pictured) - you guys certainly Belong for Good!
