Showing purpose with purple 💜 Teams in Australia and New Zealand dressed in violet and made donations for ‘Wear It Purple’ Day, which promotes awareness of young people’s LGBTQI+ experiences and the importance of allyship. As part of the day, employees recorded a podcast, where two members of our PRIDE Employee Inclusion Group discussed inclusivity and role models in the workplace. We strive to create a culture of belonging where all employees can bring their full selves and best ideas.
To us, supporting a charity partner means more than writing a cheque. It’s about finding ways we can donate time and space to helping them achieve a mission. We have a long history of supporting Migrant Leaders which matches migrant students with mentors to help them navigate exams, job interviews and career development. Many of our employees have become mentors and witnessed the charity’s rewarding impact first-hand, as was discussed at the recent book launch for ‘Migrant Magic’ at our Watford HQ. In her book, Elham Fardad, CEO of Migrant Leaders, uses her own experience to outline the unique superpowers that migrants hold within to flourish and thrive in challenging circumstances. Her talk at the launch, followed by an event panel of mentors and mentees, certainly inspired us all.
Our support of green transport is making a buzz in Costa Rica. The ‘Leaders in Economic Electrification’ award from the country’s national electricity supplier, ICE, celebrates our active promotion of renewable energy through our recent project to install chargers for electric vehicles at our Costa Rica facility. Costa Rica aims to be a net-zero emissions economy by 2050 and more than 95% of Costa Rica’s national energy mix is from renewable sources. We’re delighted with the award and will continue to support the sustainability goals of countries we operate in.
A busy day at our Hull office! Not only did the team gear up for Cycle To Work Day, the UK’s biggest celebration of cycle commuting, they’ve also been marking Yorkshire Day with flat caps, dialect guides and ‘a good brew.’ We’re proud of our long Yorkshire heritage and saddling up to cycle to work contributes to lower carbon emissions and cleaner air for all.

We were pleased to join other local organisations to fill 2,000 backpacks containing school essentials such as glue sticks, pencils and notebooks, helping families get ready for the next school year.
Across the world, our teams have been getting behind the players we have supported at this year's Wimbledon, embracing some of the iconic championship's traditions and most importantly, having some fun with it. Together.
Introducing our Orthopaedics for All initiative - a global advisory board established to amplify diversity by building equity, breaking bias, and inspiring inclusion for individuals wishing to pursue a career in orthopaedic surgery. We recently partnered with @perryinitiative to host forty female high school students at Wake Forest School of Medicine to explore hands-on surgery modules and receive mentorship from women surgeons and engineers.
