Harnessing the power of #digital: over 250 Tapestry Digital team members from across our brands recently came together for our first-ever in-person DigitalPalooza. This two-day event emphasized community, team building, inspiration, and innovation. Teams heard from leadership on the future of digital at Tapestry, participated in ideation sessions, solved challenges, and participated in team building exercises, including a volunteer event with Hudson Guild. Strengthening company culture and investing in our people are integral parts of what we do at Tapestry. Congratulations to the Digital team on a successful DigitalPalooza – we can’t wait to see your ideas and solutions come to life!
In the news: Logan Duran, Tapestry’s Senior Director of ESG & Sustainability, spoke about the latest progress we’re making on our sustainability journey at Sourcing Journal's 'Sustainability Summit: The Road to 2030' last week. Across the past year, we’ve committed to driving change in our industry, focusing on developing a sustainable supply chain. We’ve also committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse-gas emissions by 2050, tied 10% percent of our leadership’s incentive compensation to the execution of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity goals, launched a craftsperson apprenticeship program to extend the life of handbags, and partnered with the World Wildlife Fund to enhance traceability within Brazil’s leather value chain and combat deforestation in the Amazon rainforest. But the work doesn’t stop there. Learn more about the measures our brands – Coach, kate spade new york, and Stuart Weitzman – are taking to meet our sustainability goals in this article from Sourcing Journal or by visiting our website at tapestry.com/responsibility #ourtapestry
At Tapestry, we’re creating a more equitable, inclusive, and empowered workplace for our employees. As part of this journey, through the Tapestry Foundation, we are now an official member of Catalyst Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to building workplaces that work for women. In support of this work, our CEO Joanne Crevoiserat has joined Catalyst’s CEO Champions for Change, an initiative that brings together CEOs and senior leaders from more than 70 companies who are supporting and driving diversity, inclusion, and gender equity within their organizations. Through this initiative, we’ll continue to strengthen our equity, diversity and inclusion metrics, policies and practices across Tapestry; review and improve the pipeline of women of diverse backgrounds for advancement and empower them with a strong support system; and identify and work to reduce any structural barriers or bias that may exist and do everything we can to continue to build an inclusive workplace culture. #ourtapestry #catalystforchange #standtallertogether

For the fifth year in a row, Tapestry has been recognized among “The Best Employers for Diversity” by Forbes. Jumping up over 270 spots on the list from last year, this achievement is a testament to the work our teams have put in to advance Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity at Tapestry. The Best Employers for Diversity list was compiled by surveying over 60,000 U.S. employees in companies with a minimum of 1,000 employees; diversity among Board of Directors and executive teams were also taken into consideration. Congratulations and thank you to our teams on earning this recognition - together, we stand taller. #ourtapestry
We’re proud to announce a partnership with World Wildlife Fund through a $3 million philanthropic grant from the Tapestry Foundation to develop an innovative system that will enhance the traceability of the leather value chain in Brazil. The challenges of today’s climate crisis are too big for any one organization to solve, but we believe through partnerships like this we can collaborate to address the impacts of deforestation. April is National Volunteer Month. At Tapestry, giving back to the communities where we live, work, and make our products is core to who we are. In FY19, we launched the bold goal of completing 100,000 volunteer service hours by 2025; to date, we’ve completed over 75,000 volunteer hours, with over 30,000 hours completed in FY22 alone. Today, we honor International Transgender Day of Visibility; now more than ever, we celebrate the resilience and accomplishments of transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming individuals and continue to raise awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve justice, equity, and equality for the LGBTQ+ community at large. To honor this day and further our commitment to equity for all, the Tapestry Foundation has donated to CenterLink, an organization that provides support to over 300 LGBTQ centers, to help them continue their critical advocacy work to address systemic challenges at the highest level and on the ground as go-to safe havens in local communities across the United States. Across Tapestry, we support and stand with all our LGBTQ+ colleagues and Prouder Together employee resource group. We’re proud to have partnered with and donated over $1.5M to non-profits supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including Hetrick-Martin Institute, It Gets Better, Point Foundation, The Trevor Project, Albert Kennedy Trust (UK), Born This Way Foundation, and Open to All.
