Throughout our Mental Health Month in May and centered around a mental health day off for all employees, our teammates had the opportunity to participate in an array of offerings which supported our theme of 'Cultivate Courage'. From leadership messages and connects, to an energizing keynote on facing our fears, to mindful leadership training on supporting mental health within the workplace, to the debut of a working well team charter guide that teams can use to create standards for mindful business practices and healthy ways of working that support them in being at their best, we focused on how we can cultivate courage. Check out the video below to hear how a few of our teammates cultivate courage on a daily basis.
Last month was our first enterprise-wide Global Learning Day, a time for colleagues to prioritize continuous learning and skill development. Our focus for the day was on artificial intelligence. Our global team put together a schedule of both live (in-person and virtual) as well as pre-recorded sessions covering everything from AI 101, a showcase of how we have integrated artificial intelligence and machine learning in our products, AI in our markets, and AI in our individual jobs. Check out our blog post to hear our teammates' feedback from our inaugural learning day.
“My recent time away on sabbatical impacted my life and my family in such a positive way. During this time, I completed a major renovation project on my home, allowing us to prepare it for rental, which was a significant financial move for my husband and me. Additionally, I took classes and researched rental property management, drafted contracts, and developed marketing materials, setting us up for success with this new venture. I also completed a personal finance course with my husband to ensure we are aligned with our financial goals, volunteered for a dog rescue group I am passionate about, and did therapy visits with my therapy dog. We also prepared for a move, and I was able to support my husband through a crucial time as he prepared for an exam. All of these accomplishments have brought a great sense of peace and stability to our lives. It is incredible what we can achieve when we have the time to focus on what is truly important to us and our families. Everyone should have the chance to take the time they need to focus on themselves and their loved ones when they need it.”
