We’re going from strength to strength in creating a culture of openness and transparency around mental health. In collaboration with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, we now have trained 44 employees as MHFA Champions. Having people managers with a strong awareness of mental health who can be the first point of contact will create an extra layer of care in their teams. They will support our employees to be the best version of themselves at work and beyond along with our other support options including Mental Health First Aiders, Employee Assistance Programme and Good Vibes Programme. We want to thank all the participants for taking part in the training and recognising the importance of continuing conversations around mental health.
We’re proud to share that in collaboration with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, we just trained 16 people managers to become MHFA Champions. This marks another milestone in UNiDAYS’ efforts to increase awareness surrounding mental health. It sits alongside our Good Vibes Programme, Employee Assistance Programme and supports our team of Mental Health First Aiders across each campus location. We appreciate the importance of being part of a company that understands the importance of talking about mental health. At UNiDAYS, we’re constantly looking for ways to ensure we are supporting and enabling our employees to be the best version of themselves at work and beyond.

Are you a student or graduate looking for an internship in Software Engineering? Help us code our tomorrow and apply for an internship with UNiDAYS. Here’s what our current interns had to say about working with us: Lydia: “I get 1 on 1 guidance and I’m understanding more every day. I literally don’t know of any other place that would be better for a placement than UNiDAYS.” Alex: “I’m probably learning as much, if not more, as I was at uni and I’m being paid for the privilege. Using the website after having released a bug fix for it, was a very surreal experience - one of my personal highlights so far.“ Oliver: “I have been involved in some brilliant projects that have taught me so much and I know there is still lots to learn going forward with UNiDAYS.” Jonathan: “At UNiDAYS, the teams are open to suggestions, regardless of whether you’re an intern or a senior developer. My favourite part of the internship is the time and resources you are provided with for personal development, in whatever areas of tech you are interested in.” So...you in? http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQxj4
Happy World Mental Health Day! Today is World Mental Health Day and millions of people across the globe will be speaking out to support mental health education, raise awareness and advocate against social stigma. Here at UNiDAYS we’re no exception and we wanted to let you know some of the things we have in place to support good mental health for our employees and some of the exciting things we’ve got coming up: Every office has a mindfulness initiative whether it’s yoga or mindfulness classes! Every office is going to have a well-being area where you can switch off from emails and have some ‘you’ time. Mental Health First Aid is coming! We're in the process of arranging for Mental Health First Aid training to be rolled out to a group of employees globally. Remember it’s ok to not be ok and at UNiDAYS we want to support our employees every step of the way. #WorldMentalHealthDay #UNiDAYSareinyourcorner
