In the latest editions of the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners UK legal directories, the firm has also been recommended as a top-tier firm in 22 practice areas across the two and is listed across 140 areas altogether.

Liverpool ROH Martin English, along with Richard Burrows and Sarah Jennings (representatives from the Liverpool social & CSR committees) recently visited with the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity to take a look around its new centre to see firsthand the excellent work that is undertaken by our chosen office charity. We were also delighted to celebrate our record breaking fundraising for the charity – earlier this year we reached a milestone of £50,000 raised. The Liverpool office will continue to support Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as their nominated office charity for another term until 2026.

Weightmans announces new managing partner! We're thrilled to announce that Sarah Walton, our current Client Relationships Director and a valued board member, will be taking on the role of Managing Partner in April 2025! 🎉 Sarah has been an integral part of our firm since 2011, following the merger with Mace & Jones, where she began her legal career. Over the years, she has taken on several key roles and her wealth of experience will no doubt drive the firm forward as she steps into this exciting new chapter. We want to extend our gratitude to John Schorah, who will be stepping down after 12 years of dedicated service as Managing Partner.
