This weekend was the annual Clown Race for Danish Hospital Clowns. 🤡 Families with runners young and old joined on Saturday to spend a sunny and fun filled morning together supporting this awesome cause. 🏃♀️🏃♂️ At the LEGO Group, colleagues globally are encouraged to do volunteering work two days a year. Our Billund colleagues were there bright and early to join in on the fun. Today we celebrate a milestone for the long-term family ownership of the LEGO Group and KIRKBI A/S (the family-owned holding and investment company that owns 75% of the LEGO Group). Thomas Kirk Kristiansen, the most active fourth-generation owner, is taking over as Chairman of KIRKBI A/S from his father Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, who is celebrating his 50th anniversary since officially joining the LEGO Group. This marks the last and formal step in the gradual generational handover from the 3rd to the 4th generation of the Kirk Kristiansen family.
