Interview
The worst hiring process I have ever came across, not professional, rude and not compliant with current practices.
I applied for the job and then received an email stating that they had received too many applications and I should phone if I wanted an interview. This is highly irregular as it appears they're not screening applicants.
On the phone call they asked me some easy competency questions. They then told me I had an interview at 9am in two days time, the meeting should have been on teams. They didn't send a link to join the meeting and I emailed the day before to let them know I still didn't receive a teams invite. I emailed them again and only received "I am looking into this". There was no apology and their response came after I was supposed to be interviewing. The experience and lack luster approach of Brotosh Gas has put me off from applying in the future as it seems so disorganised, I'd hate to know how it is to work for them when they cannot even make the effort to entice new candidates to the company.
I am highly disappointed that British Gas not only wasted my time. But I am more shocked that they're not screening candidates appropriately. It is clear they did not screen applications and therefore had no way to know if candidates needed support or assistance in the interview process to be Equallity Act 2010 compliant.

Interview
Was really pleased to have a thorough interview and told lots about the role but feel like I could have been given more feedback, particularly towards the end. There were also points where I feel like my questions weren't completely answered.
