A few weeks after submitting my resume, I received a phone call out of the blue from HR. I was asked a few basic questions regarding my reading interests and my desire to work in publishing. Though the phone interview was not set ahead of time, the questions were simple enough that I didn't feel unprepared. She told me she would forward my resume to the hiring manager and that I should hear back within a few weeks. It had been almost two weeks before she called back to schedule an interview.
I met with HR first. That interview was fairly formal (though the woman interviewing me was very nice) and lasted about a half hour. I was then sent to another building to meet with an Assistant Editor. This interview was much more casual, fun even. I felt like I was just talking books with a good friend. It also lasted about a half hour. I was told I should hear something in a week or two.
The next week I received a call offering me the intern position.

Question 1
None of the questions were especially difficult. I tend to hate the greatest strength/weakness type questions, so be prepared for those.
