I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rapid7 (Pune) in Jun 2026
Interview
This was the worst interview experience I’ve had in my 7 years of professional experience. The hiring manager had scheduled an in-person interview for 2 PM IST. I arrived 30 minutes early, but had to wait as another candidate was being interviewed. The manager then went for lunch, stating he was starving, and my interview finally began at 3:15 PM and lasted until 5 PM.
Throughout the session, he displayed a highly dominating attitude. Despite lacking technical knowledge and kept repeating himself that he is CCNA certified, portray himself as an expert and repeatedly interrupted me, dismissing my responses by saying I didn’t know anything — even though I have 7 years of corporate experience.
No wonder the ones who I know in the company had warned me about his poor behaviour and highly unprofessional attitude towards candidates.
It’s been over a month with no response from either HR or the hiring manager (which was expected). I’m glad I wasn’t selected — working with such people would have been extremely difficult.
I would not recommend anyone to apply for the Technical Support team.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Rapid7 (Pune) in Dec 2025
Interview
WASTE OF TIME, worst company, Took 3 rounds of interview, finalized CTC and didn't provided offer letter since I have asked questions for my clarity. The manager attitude not seems to be good, they were expecting more hours to work after the end of your shift.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Rapid7 (Tampa, FL) in Sep 2025
Interview
This was my first time interviewing with a company. While the interview at Rapid7 was straightforward, the overall process felt lengthy. After a one-hour interview with section managers, there was an additional extended technical interview that covered a large number of questions. The interviewers were professional and respectful, and they made an effort to ease the stress, though the process itself was still demanding. Make sure you study up on Linux commands, SQL databases, cloud, networking port numbers, and how information security works.
