I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Royal London in Jan 2020
Interview
Utterly disrespectful and unprofessional. I had applied for a role and RL initially responded quickly by email asking for a first call. Thereafter it went downhill. After 4 (maybe 5) follow-ups from me, someone eventually called and set up a date & time. The appointment came and went with no-one from RL turning up. Unfortunately, I had to attend to a family emergency later that day so missed RL's follow up call (I assume to apologise) and since then despite multiple emails and LinkedIn messages, nothing. I've had to use email/LinkedIn as I've no other contact details. I don't think I've experienced such total disrespect and disregard for good manners in a company ever. I've given up and perhaps I dodged a bullet? You decide.

Thanks for your review on your experience at Royal London. This is not an experience we recognise at all and certainly email and telephone are used daily to contact candidates to set up meetings, rearrange interviews, provide feedback etc. Our time to offer is 2-3 weeks so we do not delay on getting the right talent into the business at the right time. However, if meetings are arranged poorly then clearly a bad experience can occur and we can only apologise if that is the case here. Good luck with your future career.
