Stonewood Complex Care

Founded in 2023, Stonewood Complex Care was created with a simple but powerful vision: to allow people needing complex care to remain at home. With the people and places that matter to them. Working as an NHS Matron, our founder Tom Monaghan witnessed first had the difficulties faced by people requiring complex and specialist care in their own home. Armed with the experience and knowledge of the ways in which care could be improved for clients and carer workers – Stonewood was born! Since our beginnings, we’ve grown from a small team of passionate caregivers into a trusted provider of nurse-led complex care, working with both Case Managers and NHS Commissioners, serving the North-West and The Midlands. We specialize in building bespoke teams of highly trained carers who are able to blend the clinical care we provide, with the home environments we work in. We are proud at Stonewood to have a track record of developing our colleagues and teams, with a management team built up of people who have worked ‘hands-on’ in the care sector - meaning we understand the needs of each role. We are also able to demonstrate our commitment to promoting and training our colleagues with an active NVQ programme and care colleagues being promoted into senior office roles

We are an independent domiciliary care provider, approved by Social Services and monitored by the Care Quality Commission. We offer a high level of care to people in their own homes needing assistance with all day to day tasks across Hastings, Bexhill, Battle, Rye and surrounding areas. We cater to people of all ages, with a range of disabilities and health conditions and ensure that you are treated with dignity and the upmost respect as we are guests in your home.

Across the South and South West England, YOU empowers thousands of people every year to thrive in their communities through creative, person-centred support. Our vision: We believe everyone should have access to the tools and resources they need to pursue the life they want. From 2024-2025 our services received and assessed 28,585 referrals, providing tailored support across a wide range of needs and circumstances. These referrals came through the following specialist services: - Young Lives - PARAGON (Domestic Violence & Abuse service) - YOU Counselling Centres - Advice Portsmouth - Enablement Services - Learning Disabilities - Cycling Without Age - Dorset Intervention and Prevention Services (DIPS) - Mental Health Services - Dragonfly Champions How we change lives: - People with learning disabilities gain independence and take control of their lives. - Survivors of domestic abuse and hidden violence, women, men, and children, reclaim their freedom and live safely, free from fear. - Young people grow in confidence, developing the skills needed to become independent people. - Those experiencing mental ill health discover new meaning and purpose as they move forward beyond their illness. - Individuals facing financial hardship overcome debt, increase their incomes, and find security in stable housing. - People enhance their health and wellbeing through new interests, community connections, and supportive relationships. Overall, people feel more confident, less stressed, and more in control, living lives that reflect their goals and values. We are proud of the work we do, and the lives we impact.
