You are just a number, no matter how hard you work it’s not acknowledged. Management do not care about staff. Favouritism goes on, if your face fits you can progress. Bullying and racism is allowed and if you speak up you’re made out to be a problem. Some lazy staff who do literally nothing and get away with it as they have been there so long. Certain staff wonder off numerous times for the day every day and nothing is said. If you have children forget it as you don’t get much help. If you are sick you are not taken care of you are punished. Considering you have to deal with thousands of people daily I fail to understand how you couldn’t become sick. If you are 1 minute late to the desk you are marked as late. Even if the queues in the staffing areas are long due to shortage of staff you are marked. You can be in the building 10-15 mins before your shift but due to staffing issues you get to the desk late by a minute or two you’re still marked.
