Cons
Extremely poor management - everyone is micromanaging, especially in Supply Chain. There is absolute 0 respect for the work you do - nor training. You have to train yourself or beg someone to show you stuff as manager is way too busy to care. Been left for days without nothing to do. Despite my contract being hybrid, After I complained to the Head Of, my 'line manager' decided to have a cath up and had a list of the days I actually worked from home - not letting me explain that for those days that I worked from home I had been challenged from 'another manager' and that I have been explicitly told 'I expect you in the office every single day - even if I am not in' (proof of these messages have been forwarded to the Head Of' . I had to fight for the right to work for home. At the beginning I was challenged every time I worked from home - always had to find an excuse even though it clearly stated my contract was hybrid. Been told by management not to speak anymore with the only colleague that actually cared and trained me (even though it wasn't their duty to do so). Been moved from planning to demand planning and then back to planning with no explanation as to why or what my actual duties would be. There is constantly people leaving Supply Chain as they can't stand the micromanagement and the continuous intimidation and degradation of management. This is a shame as they hire people with lots of experience and people that would like to succeed and improve processes. But you are not allowed to do so once you get the job. There is absolutely no culture nor respect and I wouldn't recommend anyone working for this company unless they change management. As my contract was coming to and end I wanted to apply for a different position, I have been told that I am not good enough - even though I have never been given actual work to do, to prove myself. Complete joke.
