Pros

Some great projects ahead for 2019 and beyond. Some lovely individuals who are there to help and support. That's all.

Cons

Aggresive, hostile, rude, unsupportive line and senior mgmt who do not care about employees. No work/life balance. They happily expect you to work way past 6:30pm and often the marketing department stays till 8 or 9pm and is the first one to come in every morning. Some people very stressed and cry in toilets. No succinct internal processes or structure and as a result the blame- ridden culture making you believe you are useless at your job. The talent gets pushed out. High turnover of staff and people unhappy when you dig deep down and ask them. Often two-faced and cut throat.

Pros

Staff Sales and Staff Discount

Cons

Extremely poor management - everyone is micromanaging, especially in Supply Chain. There is absolute 0 respect for the work you do - nor training. You have to train yourself or beg someone to show you stuff as manager is way too busy to care. Been left for days without nothing to do. Despite my contract being hybrid, After I complained to the Head Of, my 'line manager' decided to have a cath up and had a list of the days I actually worked from home - not letting me explain that for those days that I worked from home I had been challenged from 'another manager' and that I have been explicitly told 'I expect you in the office every single day - even if I am not in' (proof of these messages have been forwarded to the Head Of' . I had to fight for the right to work for home. At the beginning I was challenged every time I worked from home - always had to find an excuse even though it clearly stated my contract was hybrid. Been told by management not to speak anymore with the only colleague that actually cared and trained me (even though it wasn't their duty to do so). Been moved from planning to demand planning and then back to planning with no explanation as to why or what my actual duties would be. There is constantly people leaving Supply Chain as they can't stand the micromanagement and the continuous intimidation and degradation of management. This is a shame as they hire people with lots of experience and people that would like to succeed and improve processes. But you are not allowed to do so once you get the job. There is absolutely no culture nor respect and I wouldn't recommend anyone working for this company unless they change management. As my contract was coming to and end I wanted to apply for a different position, I have been told that I am not good enough - even though I have never been given actual work to do, to prove myself. Complete joke.

Pros

None what so ever. Awful company to work for

Cons

Where do I start.. Management are disgraceful, senior management and line managers often heard speaking ill of employees, making fun of people’s health conditions and weaknesses in an open planned office. All management work on a do as I say not as I do attitude. Unable to approach line managers with problems as there is no professionalism at all. HR is awful also, very cliquey with management. If you raise an issue with them they will always try and manipulate your way of thinking to bring the problem back to you. Have no faith in HR as they like to discuss personal problems with other employees, nothing is confidential what so ever. It is known that higher levels of HR have inappropriate relationships with employees who then find out other employees problems over a drink at the pub. HR and management are also very good at pushing people out of the company, if your face don’t fit or you ask for too much help they will find a way of getting rid of you. No training received, you are very much self taught with no support. Management have no respect and don’t appreciate the effort and hrs that you put in. Bark orders and micromanage you, not allowing you to use your own brain to approach tasks. I feel the company hasn’t moved with the times, their management style is very outdated. Promotions are rare, and the only way you will get promoted is being within the “clique” management are often inexperienced and are unable to manage people, they want mouldable people who won’t question morale. Employees are constantly under review and management aren’t. Higher management and line managers need to be reviewed alongside their morale, ethics and how they treat people. The staff turnover is ridiculously high and higher management need to ask themselves why so many people leave, it’s not the company it’s the management. They think everyone is replaceable, they’re not...
