Entry level opportunity available to CRCs to transition to CRA

Cons

Company will terminate 'under performing" employees during the first month of the training program. This is done after the first mock presentation. They are no second chances.

the salary re-evaluations/increases advertised during interview process have not followed the schedule that was suggested

With our CRAs in particular we reward them not just with base compensation, but with an opportunity to earn significant additional compensation tied directly to their travel and performance as well as the opportunity to earn Medpace equity awards very early in their career. Employees have several opportunities for financial growth with our annual merit review and promotion cycles for each career path which is based on minimum requirements and overall performance. We encourage you to speak with your Line Manager or your HR Representative regarding any concerns you may have.

Like to sell they are hybrid-friendly, but they are really started restricting WFH in my final time there

We have made recent changes to our remote work policy in support of our culture of in-office collaboration, while still providing opportunities for associates to work from home when personal flexibility is needed.

Pros

Training and development department is one of the best training programs I have experienced in my career. The comradery between co-workers on the same level with you is excellent and co-workers share lessons and experiences with each other in order to help better each other in their roles.

Cons

Management is not helpful and overworked conditions. Industry standard for a CRA is 6-8 monitoring visits per month, Working 11-14 while at Medpace was not uncommon with CTMs claiming still not enough work getting done. When I talked to my manager on a on-site visit, where they were with me, I asked if they could help I was informed "I am your evaluator not your assistant why would I help you". That same manager came to the site an hour late and left two hours early.

Integration into the clinical research industry, PTO, work schedule, ability to form professional connections

Cons

Inadequate pay, poor upper management, poor CEO functioning (it is clear and evident the oversight he has over ALL company decisions. Decisions seem to be made rashly with no insight from others), reversed Work from Home policy, terrible training program, high turnover and frequent team changes, poor reputation among CROs. CEO clearly doesn’t value employees and has said he’d replace us all with AI if he could.
