On Sunday 16 July it was National Ice Cream Day and so to celebrate, this week our MD, Anna took some time out to personally serve tasty ice creams to over 250 of our office colleagues. As a student Anna used to run an ice cream van and so this was home from home for her! At Beaverbrooks our people are the lifeblood of our business and we truly believe in looking after each and every one of our colleagues. We operate a culture of achievement and have always believed that a balance of recognition and reward is important in motivating and thanking our teams. At the weekend, more than 500 riders hopped on their bikes in the glorious sunshine and took part in the annual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride, and cycled around some of the Fylde Coast’s most scenic countryside, to raise money for Trinity Hospice, Blackpool. Beaverbrooks has supported the event for over 30 years, and this years is expected to have raised £16,000 for charity. It’s a great event for riders of all abilities with various routes ranging from 15 to 45 miles. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, including our colleagues and volunteers who helped with registrations and marshalling duties. #Charity #BikeRide #retail
We're delighted to share that we cut another ribbon this week at our newly refurbished Beaverbrooks Reading store in The Oracle Shopping Centre, following a £900k investment. This is our fourth reopening of the year as we continue to invest in our estate to provide exceptional levels of customer service, expertise and passion for diamonds, jewellery and watches to another region. Our in-store experts are on hand to consult with customers for those extra special purchases of diamond and bridal jewellery in the store’s new dedicated ‘diamond room’. This includes our latest range, the new ‘Starlit’ collection, a uniquely designed 15-piece collection representing the stars that light the universe.
