It’s been a busy start to 2019 for Jon Lewis, Capita CEO with a number of international trips. Back in January, Jon paid a visit to India along with Ismail Amla, Chief Growth Officer, Alan Hartwell of Capita Software) and Serge Taborin, Chief Technology Officer. Whilst there they visited our Digital Development Centre (DDC) in Pune, near Mumbai to see first-hand the great work our team do – supporting not just our Software business but other Capita business process outsourcing (BPO) services too. At the end of January Jon flew to Cork for the announcement of a new €12 million contract with energy provider Electric Ireland, and last week he visited Kraków to view the work that goes on at Capita in Poland, and to meet and speak with employees and managers. Jim Lafferty, General Manager, said: “Jon’s visit was a landmark visit for Capita in Poland and you could really feel the excitement and enthusiasm throughout the office during the day. I’m already looking forward to carrying Jon’s positive spirit across the organisation in 2019.”
