Our training and development arm, 4Skills, has announced a new development scheme to support young digital creatives in the North of England to progress their careers 👏 Content Creatives+ builds on the success of 4Skills' Content Creatives programme, which has helped more than 100 people from lower socio‑economic backgrounds into entry‑level creative roles since 2021. The scheme will support several alumni of the original programme through fully paid placements with Leeds and Manchester‑based digital creative businesses. It aims to support people to progress in their careers, identifying and addressing barriers to employment for young people from underrepresented groups. A huge thanks to our partners SharpFutures and We are The Allies for their roles in delivering the scheme.
Our 4Schools team visited 11 Bradford secondary schools to deliver dynamic workshops celebrating Bradford City of Culture 2025 🎉 Year 9 and 10 students explored careers in film and TV, with a spotlight on creating their own Gogglebox style sofa sketch. Gogglebox Executive Producer Victoria Ray joined two sessions, offering insider tips and inspiring students to push their ideas further. The results were brilliant, witty, original and three schools particularly shone 👏 Students from Bradford Academy, Parkside School, and Brontë Girls’ Academy were invited to a follow up masterclass with Submarine Films, where they got hands on with professional cameras, sound gear, and editing tools. These sessions gave students a real taste of life behind the lens and showed just how much creative talent Bradford has to offer 🎥
Introducing The Fountain of Filth… To Promote Dirty Business, Channel 4’s new factual drama, our inhouse agency 4creative have created an unmissable fountain installation at Observation Point on London’s South Bank. The 10-metre-wide fountain has been designed to draw attention to the heartbreaking human cost of Britain’s sewage scandal and is open to the public to visit from today until Wednesday. Within the fountain, bronze-like statues of men, women, and children appear to vomit murky brown water - a sickening reflection of the real experiences of those who believe they were made ill by exposure to waterways polluted with untreated sewage. Ex-national surfing champion Sophie Hellyer, and prominent outdoor swimming journalist and guide Ella Foote are amongst those whose likeness has been reflected in the statues through 3D scanning. The fountain directs visitors to discover ‘The Sick Truth Behind Britain’s Sewage Scandal’ through a QR code on its plaque, where they can hear first hand stories from those affected in specially commissioned interviews.
