We’ve announced our next CEO! Clodagh Moriarty has joined us from 1st October. Clo will take on the baton from Nick Wilkinson who in February announced his intention to retire from Dunelm and full-time executive life, following seven years in the role.
Our 200th store is now open! We are delighted to announce that today we have opened the doors to our 200th store, in Merthyr Tydfil. Our Chief People Officer & Stores Director Amanda Cox said- ‘Our stores have had a presence across the UK for over 40 years and this important milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to bringing ‘The Home of Homes’ to more customers.’ With a dedicated made to measure department, a beautiful Pausa Kitchen Café, our heritage brand Dorma and our colourful new addition of Sophie Robinson x Dunelm collection, the 200th store is a culmination of our classic quality and value with our ever evolving style and vision. BTS at our latest Early Careers connection day photoshoot! 📸 Last week, our early careers cohort spent the day at our Stoke Distribution Centre, diving into the world of supply chain operations and gaining hands-on insights into how we keep everything moving and get our products into our customer's homes. The cohort also completed a training session on personality types, exploring how different working styles contribute to teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. These moments of cross-functional learning, connection and growth are what make our early careers programme so special. A huge thank you to everyone who made this day happen! We’re thrilled to announce that we have acquired Home Focus at Hickeys and their 13 stores across the country. This marks a first for us - taking our presence beyond the UK - and we couldn’t be more excited to meet our new customers in the Republic of Ireland.
