⭐ We've increased our hourly rate across Essex ⭐ We recognise the amazing contribution our Community Care Assistants make every day and we're continuing to invest in them to show how much we value and appreciate their hard work and dedication. All new Reablement Care Assistants who join us from 1st August will receive a minimum of £12.20 per hour during the week and £14.20 per hour at weekends!
We've been out and about across Essex in May and June, meeting members of the public and talking to them about what it's like to work for ECL. Tomorrow (17/06/22) we are in The Willows Shopping Centre in Wickford from 9am and next week (24/06/22) we'll be at Water Gardens in Harlow. The pandemic brought the issue of work-life balance into sharp focus for us all. It led many who’d been feeling overworked and underappreciated to reevaluate what they really wanted out of a career, and for some it acted as the final push they needed to make a change. That’s certainly true for Julie, a former teacher turned Community Care Assistant with ECL.
