Our HL Innovation Day meant we got to pursue one of our core values - do things better. Colleagues were given the opportunity to show us what they’re made of by submitting ideas and forming teams to explore innovative ways to improve HL, from creating whole new concepts to improving existing processes and developing technology. Importantly, we wanted to demonstrate that we should not be afraid to fail when it comes to innovation. A panel of in-house experts selected the top five teams, who presented their business case to the board of directors today. The collaboration and drive demonstrated on the day was a strong reminder of the talent we have from people all over the business.
