We've introduced a new project called Key2Me which helps colleagues develop stronger relationships with residents. Each key has a theme act as a reminiscence tool, giving families and colleagues the opportunity to evoke fond memories of things like holidays, hobbies and favourite past times. This week marks #DyingMattersWeek The week is an opportunity to encourage all communities to get talking about dying in whatever way suits them. At MHA, we're passionate about having conversations about death and dying. We offer award-winning 'final lap' training to colleagues and encourage healthy conversation amongst the people we support. It's been our Communi-tea Party this month and it's been great to see people getting involved, baking cakes and raising money for MHA. Our care homes, community groups and retirement living were raising money for their own amenity funds (so more events and fun coming their way!)
