To mark Pride this year, colleagues at Post Office attended Birmingham Pride to celebrate inclusion and show support for our LGBTQIA+ communities. Here at Post Office, we’re navigating huge change across the business and our branches, and creating a culture where everyone feels accepted and supported matters just as much as the work we’re delivering. Through our networks like PRISM, our LGBTQIA+ network, we’re helping build an organisation where people can be themselves and feel they belong. Events like Pride aren’t just about one day – they’re a reminder of the inclusive culture we’re working towards. A huge thank you thank to our PRISM network for making it such a memorable day. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Pride!
Cooking has a way of bringing people together. In a special Cooking with Mo feature, Mohammed Ali takes us behind the traditions of Ramadan and cooks a dish for colleagues to share 🍽️🌙 Moments like these remind us how sharing culture—whether through conversation or cooking—helps build understanding, connection, and inclusivity in the workplace.
A new LGBT awareness course is now available to our colleagues. LGBT History Month is a great opportunity to get some insight into the everyday challenges of our LGBT colleagues and friends.
At Post Office, we’re developing our people by providing apprenticeship opportunities to upskill and progress their careers. Our Historical Matters Team Support, Zeinab Rahman, is sharing her apprenticeship journey.

A Message From Our CEO Coronavirus continues to challenge how we’re all living our lives right now, not least as we adjust to a further national lockdown to help get the pandemic under control. Throughout it all, Post Office has been there for communities across the UK. As an essential service, our postmasters and support teams have worked tirelessly to keep open and trading in over 90% of our network locations. I want to say thank you to them all for their energy and resilience since March. And to you, our customers, for continuing to use our services and abiding by social distancing rules. Recent news of vaccine rollouts gives us increased hope for the months ahead. But I’d ask you to keep up the resolve for now, wearing a mask and staying two metres apart in our branches. And please treat our colleagues with respect. Our branches remain busy - our advice is to check our branch finder to see branch opening times, and try come in at quieter times. Please keep looking out for one another, follow the health and safety guidance and stay well. We're Stronger Together
Everyone should feel free to practice their religion. No matter your beliefs, take this World Religion Day as an opportunity to celebrate and share your culture with others. #diversity #inclusivity #WorldReligionDay
Applications are now open for two serving Postmasters to join our Board as Non-Executive Directors for the first time in our history
We’re standing up to domestic abuse! We’re the first to adopt Royal Mai’s & UK's Says No More ‘Online Safe Spaces’ digital portal, which provides support for victims of domestic abuse. The portal provides a variety of information on domestic abuse. It also features a quick exit button and leaves no browsing history, ensuring the safety of those using the service. Every year, International Men’s Day (19 November) in the UK is marked by more and more women, men and organisations across the country. The three core themes for International Men’s Day in the UK are: •Making a positive difference to the wellbeing and lives of men and boys •Raising awareness and/or funds for charities supporting men and boys’ wellbeing •Promoting a positive conversation about men, manhood and masculinity. To mark this year, we asked a number of male colleagues for some of their thoughts on the impact of the pandemic on men’s mental health. As a business, we take mental health seriously and encourage our people to talk about it especially now during these difficult times.
