A massive congratulations to our former Company Secretary Alwen Lyons who is to receive an OBE, recognising her outstanding contribution to the Post Office! A huge congratulations to Alex Clarke who received the first Alwen Lyons Award. The award recognises colleagues who have gone above and beyond for diversity and inclusion. Alex has a strong passion to promote diversity and inclusion in the work place. This what Alex had to say about why he is so passionate about Diversity & Inclusion: "As a disabled man, I've gone through adversity and I know what it's like to not feel comfortable in your own skin. It was a big turning point in my life when I realised this was wrong. Everyone is individual and different in their own way and this should be celebrated. I want everyone to feel as comfortable in their own skin as I do, no matter the difference."
