Today, we’re spotlighting two colleagues whose journeys show just how transformative apprenticeships can be. ⭐ Olivia – Staff Nurse Starting as a Trainee Healthcare Assistant five years ago, Olivia completed the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship and now shines as a Staff Nurse, demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and dedication every day. 💬 “Ramsay supported my journey from trainee HCA to Staff Nurse, giving me the opportunity to grow, progress, and thrive while feeling supported every step of the way.” Her apprenticeship helped her grow in confidence, strengthen her communication skills, and apply her learning in practice. ⭐ Conor – Physiotherapy Technician Conor plays a key role in supporting rehabilitation sessions, preparing treatment spaces, coordinating appointments, and ensuring safe, smooth patient experiences across Woodland & Glendon Wood Hospitals. 💬 “As my knowledge and skills have grown, I’ve become quicker at grasping new concepts… this increased confidence enhances care and creates a better experience for our patients.” He highlights how accessible apprenticeships are and how supportive colleagues and leadership can be throughout the journey.

From teaching archery and first aid to managing cadet records and events, Amanda’s skills in coordination, mentoring, and service have been shaped by decades of volunteering.
