We are excited to announce that Thomson Reuters has received the prestigious Mahatma Award 2024 in the category of Partnership for Impact. "I had the honor of co-hosting and organizing a business resource group (BRG) fair last week, alongside our amazing BRG leaders. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with our co-leads, learn about upcoming initiatives, and discover ways to get involved. We also enjoyed a fantastic market featuring local businesses, showcasing many unique and inspiring products! "The afternoon concluded with an insightful panel discussion on "The Role of BRGs in Driving Business Success and Innovation," where our executive sponsors, Steven Assie and Kristal Au-Yong, shared their expertise and real-world examples of BRG impact. I was inspired to see our company's dedication to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone can thrive as their authentic selves." Kelly, Senior Human Resources Manager, Canada #WorkingAtTR
"Since I joined Thomson Reuters two and a half years ago, I have experienced the collective dedication to fostering connections and providing development tools. In my initial role as an Associate Editor Contractor, I developed my research and editorial skills by taking on new content projects and collaborating with senior editors. After a year and a half, I transitioned into a "flex" Associate Editor role, supporting multiple services and implementing efficient processes across teams. Within ten months, I was promoted to Senior Associate Editor for Practical Law's Bankruptcy & Restructuring service. "My career progression was accelerated by mentorship, flexible short-term projects (Gigs) that complemented my current role, and coffee chats, all of which are encouraged by Thomson Reuters. One-on-one meetings with directors and senior editors were instrumental in guiding my journey and helping me build bridges to new opportunities. The culture at Thomson Reuters, which emphasizes fostering connections and providing development tools, has been integral to my career journey. I am excited to continue growing within this incredible organization, knowing there are always new opportunities and support for my professional development." Michael, Senior Associate Editor, United States
