      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Greggs (Manchester, England) in Jun 2024

      Interview

A 2 hour interview with the area manager. Very laid back, just general questions asking about experience and what I liked about Greggs, I was told I would hear back within 10 days, took over 3 weeks and just got a generic email. No real feedback which was disappointing

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Greggs (London, England) in May 2015

      Interview

Two interviews. One with HR followed by another with my prospective Area Manager. The first was all about expectations (from us both), experiences, scenarios etc. Standard questions. The second was much more personal. HR decided I was qualified, the AM wanted to know if I'd fit in. A few scenarios and questions etc, but nothing taxing. The surprise to me was that after being introduced, I was handed a clipboard, with various headings on it (sales, teamwork etc) and left for 15 minutes to observe the shop floor, making notes - which were then dissected later. Coming from one business to another, some priorities are massively different. Presentation/cleanliness/speed/friendliness etc all vary. So points I was bringing up as a result of experience were glossed over as 'not so much an issue here'.

      Question 1

How would I deal with difficult employees (e.g., not pulling their weight/being late etc)
