Pros

Incredible brand Excellent editorial and content

Cons

I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy a job at FT Live. They trade off the brand but the delivery is substandard at best. There is a culture of bullying, the leadership team are only interested in managing upwards and the rest of the business are completely disengaged. I would NEVER work for FT Live again even if they quadrupled my pay.

Pros

- Great company overall run well from the top

Cons

- divisive FT Live MD. Shouting and swearing in meetings, a tyrant and a bully. - Board level/HR either appears unaware of this or are covering it up - poor pay - unfair progression. Promotions given to people who haven't raised inconvenient questions or kissed the right behinds rather than people who have demonstrated talent - Too much credit taken for the recent successes of the department by too few senior people - several HR complaints about FT Live MD ignored

Pros

Good experience in the events industry Some nice team members

Cons

Unprofessional and micromanaging manager who was incredibly controlling and put me on probation citing poor performance without any evidence of such. I left the company as the bullying got to a level where I knew it was better for my health to leave. My manager within FT Live was probably the most unprofessional person I have ever had to work with - they had no idea about DEI and it definitely showed in the way they spoke to me.
