Last week Agincare took part in the annual charity business Volleyball tournament on Weymouth beach – organised by Nantes Solicitors and Notaries in support of RNLI lifeboats. This year we entered three teams and had plenty of friends, family and Agincare colleagues there to support. One of our teams did amazingly well to reach the semi-finals and will be looking forward to bringing the trophy home next year!
We are delighted to share with you highlights from our Agincare Heroes Awards 2023 held at The Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe, Wiltshire. Just 13 winners from our 4,000 strong workforce were nominated from those receiving care and their families, alongside health and social care professionals, colleagues and the general public. The Agincare Heroes Awards paid tribute to our team members that have gone above and beyond in their roles or excelled by making an outstanding difference to people who draw on Agincare’s services. Thanks to everyone who made the day so special! #proudtocare
This afternoon our fabulous Recruitment team at our Head Office in Portland put on a Bake Off-style competition to raise money for the The Care Workers' Charity We were bowled away by the sheer creativity on display, we had everything from the classic Victoria sponge to meringue, brownies, cookies, cupcakes and even an upside-down cake! After facing an intense judging panel, Lauren was crowned Star Baker for her delicious croissant cake!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Agincare Heroes Awards 2023 at the glorious The Manor House at Castle Combe. It was our privilege and honour to recognise those in our 4,000 strong workforce who go above and beyond in their role. We also paid tribute to some very special people from the Agincare family that are sadly no longer with us, but who still inspire and uplift us every day. We are all looking forward to Agincare Heroes 2024! #proudtocare #agincareheroes
