As part of this year's International Women's Day celebrations, a number of our colleagues made a pledge to accelerate action by volunteering for a women's Charity. These photos were taken at Smart Works Greater Manchester, an amazing Charity that provides women with the clothing, coaching and confidence they need to succeed in interviews and get the job! Thanks to Lauren Stirling, Grace Northover, Abbey Gibson, Natasha G., Emma Blackshaw and Andy Grant for using your volunteering time to help make a difference, and to all our Elior UK colleagues who donated clothing which the team took to the centre and helped to sort.

This week, Elior UK marked the 20th year of our annual Awards for Excellence at the magnificent Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire, with over 250 of our colleagues, supply partners and clients joining us to celebrate the contribution of our highest performing colleagues and sites. Tomorrow is hashtag#WorldWaterDay and a perfect time to reflect on the importance of our partnership with Water Unite. Since we started working with Water Unite in 2019, we’ve raised over £100,000 through donations on still and sparkling water sold across our sites, to support Water Unite programmes across East Africa and Southeast Asia. As this powerful video shows, there is so much more still to be done. 1 in 3 people lack access to clean water and it is estimated that over half of the world’s population will live in water-stressed regions by 2050. We were thrilled to welcome many of our key suppliers to the Elior UK Supplier Innovation Summit 2025 today at BT Snowhill, Birmingham. This is the 3rd year we have run this event and once again it was a great success, not just for the opportunity to showcase the innovation and food development we've introduced over the past year but, importantly for sharing our vision and ambitions for the year ahead. Throughout the day, suppliers took part in the Elior ‘Think Tank’ where they had the chance to present their latest innovations to our panel of ‘dragons' Charlotte Wright, Richard Hall and Matthew Wood, each vying for the opportunity to have their new product development listed with Elior!
