Our London Office recently launched a monthly team night, giving everyone the opportunity to come together and socialise. Here they are enjoying the Spanish themed night. Plenty of Sangria, Kalimotxo, Tinto de Verano and tapas were consumed! Looking forward to seeing what the theme is next month!
As part of our investment in people and their development, Policy Expert offer all our employees the opportunity for an industry recognised qualification from the CII – Chartered Insurance Institute. To help support our employees taking the new Award in Home Insurance, we introduced supportive and collaborative study groups. So far, we have an astonishing 100% first time pass rate on this qualification, something we are very proud of! We are delighted that 74 staff in Milton Keynes alone have completed at least 1 qualification with the CII! Well done everyone.

A In my eyes Policy Expert has flown under the radar in the insurance industry for many years, yet have managed to see huge growth, amassing close to 900k customers. The business, from the top to the bottom, have massive ambitions and its clear this is only the beginning. Q What do you look forward to the most when working here? A Coming into the amazing office and being part of a thriving, inclusive culture. Q What advice would you give to anyone who wants to join Policy Expert? A Be prepared to be part of something special and have a real opportunity to contribute to a truly exciting business.
Last night Christine won the coveted title ‘Innovator of the Year’ at the UK Fintech Awards 2021. These prestigious awards were developed to celebrate the achievements and successes of the UK’s best and brightest companies and people in the Fintech sector. Christine’s award recognizes her determination and creativity in developing our pricing capability and helping to make Policy Expert a stand-out name in financial technology. Policy Expert were also shortlisted finalists for the award Insurtech of the Year. A great result all round, and special congratulations to Christine!

Here is the Head of New Business and Renewals Rishi Chotai getting involved in the company 'keepy uppy challenge' as part of our Euro 2020 football day today! We are glad with those skills he didn't get offered a contract to play for Arsenal and is steering our Sales ship! We are passionate about supporting our colleague’s wellbeing at Policy Expert! As part of our wellbeing strategy, we host several activities to promote physical, mental, and financial wellbeing and this week we hosted out first Breast Cancer Now talk in Motherwell! A special thank you to Linda at the Beatson Cancer Charity for coming to our office to speak to our colleagues!

Last month we hosted our own fun KidsOut day in Milton Keynes, doing car washes, raffles, quizzes, and team sponsored activities to raise a fantastic £2,500!
