Celebrating a Major Milestone at the RAC! š Weāre proud to share we have successfully renewed our contract with Motability until 2036, extending a long-standing and trusted partnership that continues to deliver exceptional service to customers across the UK. This means we are now the exclusive provider for providing breakdown service and incident managing their vehicles off road. Amazing! We marked this milestone by recognising all 4500 RAC colleagues with celebrations across all our sites, including visits from senior leaders and key stakeholders. Lisa Witherington, Managing Director of Customer Services at Motability, joined us at our Bescot office to help launch the new contract. She praised the quality of service delivered over many years and expressed her excitement at strengthening and expanding the partnership further. Whilst at our Bradley Stoke office, The RAC Board joined the Executive Team to offer their thanks and support. No celebration is complete without a sweet treat! š We made sure every colleague had a slice of cake in our offices, whilst our roadside and mobile mechanics will be able to celebrate with a Greggs voucher which is making its way to them. Enjoy š
At the RAC, wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We know that supporting our mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing helps us thrive both at work and in our personal lives. As part of World Wellbeing Week, some of our colleagues attended the š§” Proud to Stand Together for Suicide Prevention š§” Summer Ball, hosted by our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training partners, Tough Enough to Care. It was an inspiring evening raising awareness, breaking stigma, and encouraging vital conversations around mental health. Our Mental Health First Aiders play a crucial role in supporting our Orange Heroes, offering a safe, confidential space to talk openly and without judgement. A reminder that you donāt have to be in crisis to start a conversation about mental health. To continue the conversation, weāve also been asking colleagues how they prioritise their own wellbeing. The answers were wonderfully varied from singing, reading, and exercising to cooking and spending quality time with family. Itās a powerful reminder that wellbeing means different things to different people. Itās also been fantastic to see our Executives and Senior Leaders share how they look after their own wellbeing. What do you do to support yours?
