☕️Out with the old in with the new…Cheers!☕️ We’re getting rid of single-use coffee cups and exchanging them for an eco-friendly option! As part of our Eco-Heroes campaign to reduce our impact on the planet, we’re replacing the cardboard coffee cups with new reusable ceramic mugs. Every single day in the UK 7 million disposable coffee cups are used, but less than 1% of these are recycled each year – this is because the cups contain a layer of plastic that’s impossible to recycle by standard recycling companies. So, we’re ditching the dated drink vessels in favour of good, old-fashioned mugs, but with a silicon lid twist 😉(for health & safety reasons)!
This stark statistic singularly underlines just why seatbelts are a legal requirement ⚠️ It’s a real worry that many people still choose not to belt up and the new figures beg the question as to whether existing laws are a sufficient enough deterrent 👉
