We are proud to see our company supporting Mental Health Awareness Week again this year. With this year’s theme, “Take Action”, we’re encouraging open conversations around wellbeing, sharing support and resources, and taking small steps to support our mental health every day. Our Wellbeing Champions have already started the conversation and we also have a wellbeing board in the office where colleagues can share personal commitments and positive actions they’re taking to support their mental health. We’re also taking part in Wear It Green Day to help raise awareness and support a local charity. It’s great to work somewhere that continues to prioritise wellbeing and encourages people to speak openly about mental health.
With International Women’s Day behind us, we’re proud to share that our gender pay gap is currently slightly in favour of women, and we continue to see strong female representation across our leadership. We’re committed to closing the gap entirely and creating a workplace that’s inclusive, supportive, and fair - for both our colleagues and our customers. #IWD2026
To mark International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the talented women across our organisation, including those in roles where women have historically been under-represented. It’s inspiring to see our teams continue to grow and diversify. #IWD2026
Last month we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week and the fantastic impact our apprentices have across the organisation 🌟 Head over to our LinkedIn page to learn more about our apprenticeship programme and hear from some of our current apprentices.
🎉 We’re proud to be recognised as a Top Employer UK for the fourth year running! 🎉 Following a robust and independent assessment, we’ve once again been certified by the Top Employers Institute, a global authority in HR certification operating across 130+ countries. The certification is based on a detailed HR Best Practices Survey, covering key areas including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing. Our Chief Executive, Sarah Thomas, shared: “This recognition reflects the strength of our culture and our commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring place to work.” A huge thank you to our colleagues who bring our values to life every day and support one another to deliver the best for our customers 💙
Supporting Wellbeing Through the Winter Months❄️💙 As we move through the winter months, supporting employee wellbeing remains a key focus for us. We understand that shorter days and colder weather can impact both physical and mental health, which is why we continue to invest in initiatives that support our people all year round. This winter, we’ve shared a wellbeing advent calendar with employees, offering daily prompts and simple tips to support wellbeing during the busy festive period. We’ve also recently trained a group of Wellbeing Champions as Mental Health First Aiders, helping to ensure support is accessible across the organisation. Looking ahead, we have mental health awareness training planned for managers, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to support their teams effectively. In addition, all employees have access to Simplyhealth, including a 24/7 support line, providing confidential guidance whenever it’s needed. Creating a supportive, open and caring workplace is something we’re proud of, and we’re committed to continuing to build on this throughout the year.
In line with our mission to tackle London’s housing shortage, we’ve celebrated reaching full height on four residential blocks, a workshop space, and a community centre as part of the Ham Close regeneration scheme. The redevelopment will deliver 452 high-quality, sustainable homes, plus new community facilities and green spaces for local residents. Read more about this project on our LinkedIn post
🧠 World Mental Health Day at RHP 💚 Today we’re proud to mark World Mental Health Day, a reminder that looking after our minds is just as important as looking after our bodies. We kicked things off with an inspiring talk from Robert Holden, who shared powerful insights on happiness, self-compassion and emotional wellbeing. His message encouraged us all to pause, reflect, and take care of ourselves and one another. Throughout the day, colleagues enjoyed a calming guided meditation session and took time out for “Tea & Talk” - a simple but meaningful way to connect and check in with each other. We’re also continuing our commitment to wellbeing with upcoming Mental Health First Aider training, ensuring more of our team are equipped to support mental health across the organisation. Let’s keep the conversation going, every day is a good day to talk about mental health.
Celebrating 25 Years of RHP! 🎉 On 17 July 2000, RHP was born following a stock transfer with Richmond Council. Over the past 25 years, we’ve grown alongside our customers, communities, and colleagues - expanding from 7,200 homes in Richmond to over 11,000 across Richmond, Hounslow, Kingston, Hillingdon, and Spelthorne. To mark this milestone, we’ve been celebrating with our communities through family-friendly events packed with games, face painting, football, ice cream, and even a children’s colouring competition. Meeting so many of our customers and seeing their enjoyment was a real highlight. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and are excited about the future - continuing to listen, learn, and grow while providing safe, secure homes for local people. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey!
Celebrating Pride at RHP Group 🏳️🌈 Pride Month is a time to celebrate, reflect, and stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ colleagues, customers, and communities. This year’s theme, “Threads of Connection: Woven with PRIDE”, has inspired a colourful display of allyship at RHP Group. From our “Threads of Pride” activity, where colleagues shared personal reflections on fabric squares to create a vibrant bunting display, to rainbow cupcakes and a virtual Pride Quiz on LGBTQ+ history, we’ve been proud to honour what makes each of us unique. At RHP, inclusion isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we weave into everything we do.
