We always seize the opportunity to βwowβ our children and young people, and thanks to our Futures programme, these moments happen often. Recently, through our partnership with Inclusion Housing, pupils from Oversands School explored career opportunities in the housing sector. They toured various accommodations, spoke with residents and staff, and even mastered darts in the activity room. This experience ignited their curiosity, preparing them for life beyond the classroom.
At WG, we are proud to have a diverse team that feels welcomed and accepted no matter what. π³οΈβπ We believe in celebrating and acknowledging the LGBTQ+ community every single day, but we also recognise the importance of supporting Pride Month as a reminder that there is still work to be done. Every individual deserves to feel welcomed, accepted, and celebrated for who they are. Hollie from our Lavender Lodge School tells us why Pride month is so important adding: 'In the words of Ru Paul Charles, "if you can't love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?!"
