The XPS Multicultural Network met in our London office last week for an early kick off to our Lunar festival celebrations and to discuss the network's strategy for the coming year. XPS is committed to creating a culture of belonging, and our XPS Multicultural Network is key in helping us create an inclusive and supportive environment for people from all backgrounds. It was a very successful and inspiring day -- those smiling faces say it all (or maybe it was the cake shared during the break).

Rebecca White, Actuarial Consultant at the XPS Leeds office, spoke BBC Radio Leeds presenter, Gayle Lofthouse, about the Children in Need fundraising challenge they have started at the Leeds office to #GetPudseyHome. Pudsey bear, the Children in Need mascot, has wandered into the Leeds office so they've asked their Leeds colleagues to do some form of exercise - running, walking, swimming or cycling a total of 306km to collectively (and virtually!) get Pudsey back safe and sound. To celebrate National Mentoring Day 2023, we’re very excited to launch our inaugural XPS Mentoring Scheme. Following a pilot run by our Women’s Network in 2022, we’ve expanded this to include all colleagues. This will help support their development, whilst creating a culture of learning and improvement at XPS. This sits alongside other external mentoring partnerships we have, such as BITC’s Cross Organisational Mentoring Circles, and we believe we have impact on supporting inclusion, diversity and development at XPS.
It’s official! We’re very proud to announce that we have been officially recognised as a Menopause Friendly organisation. The achievement reflects our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone at XPS and you can read our press release here: https://lnkd.in/ekMDmmmG By earning the accreditation, we have demonstrated to an independent panel of 9 judges, that we have a culture where menopause support, understanding and awareness are embedded throughout out everything we do. Our work is not done though, and this year we’re also excited to announce the launch of our menopause champions who will provide an additional channel for support and help advocate for menopause awareness as we continue to work on breaking the stigma.
